The effects of exports on facility environmental performance: Evidence from a matching approach

This paper employs matching techniques to investigate the effects of facility export status on environmental performance. Using facility-level criteria air emission data in the US manufacturing industry, we find the industry-specific effects of export status on emission intensity, measured by emissions per value of sale. In some industries, there is consistent and robust evidence supporting the superior environmental performance of exporters relative to non-exporters in terms of emission intensity for all criteria air pollutants tracked. In other industries, we find weak evidence that exporters appear to have a higher emission intensity than non-exporters. This industrial heterogeneity in the effects of exporting on the environment is closely related to industrial characteristics including pollution abatement capital expenditure, trade costs, capital intensity and others.     

全货运航空公司单分配严格枢纽航线网络优化设计

针对全货运航空公司，研究其货运航线网络的构建问题。基于单分配严格枢纽航线网络，对传统模型进行改进。以各航线上货物的委托运输成本和自有机队的运输成本，取代传统的单位运输成本和折扣因子，考虑枢纽点的中转成本和载运率对路径选择的影响。结合航空货运夜航的特征考虑各机队夜间可用时间的限制，以总成本最小为目标，构建数学模型，采用LINGO优化软件求解，验证模型的有效性，为全货运航空公司构建货运航线网络提供参考。

高校化学实验室产生的废液不经处理便直接排入下水道,势必给环境和人类健康带来较大危害。针对这些问题,文章探索了几种方法对废液进行简单有效的处理和回收。     

Indoor air quality in mass catering plants: Occurrence of airborne eumycetes in a university canteen

The present study aimed to investigate the viable eumycetes population of indoor air sampled in a mass catering plant that produces up to 1200 meals per day. The combination of a culture-dependent and -independent approach applied in the food-processing environment was efficient for the identification of airborne eumycetes. Penicillum, Cladosporium and Alternaria were the dominant genera, while Thysanophora, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Annulohypoxylon, Arthrinium, Aureobasidium and Trametes were found to be in minority. The size and composition of the eumycetes population found in this study do not raise specific concerns. Nevertheless, a quantitative and qualitative monitoring of these bioaerosol should be included in the progress and criticality reports of the HACCP system in the catering services where eumycetes can pose different risks, such as worsening of the overall quality of meals and/or of the work environment. Indeed, these reports are a useful tool in the preventive HACCP approach, provided that an adequate frequency of sampling is planned in order to quicken the pre-warning process.

基于环境库兹涅茨曲线(EKC)理论,结合广义脉冲响应函数和方差分解法,采用1990-2008年我国相关数据,对三类环境污染物排放指标与人均GDP、商品进出口总额等之间的关系进行了实证分析,指出随着我国人均GDP和对外贸易的进一步增长,污染物排放量呈总体上升趋势,而对外贸易比人均GDP对环境的影响更为显著。
